Outdoor Family Portrait Sessions
If 2020 and Covid-19 have taught us anything, it's the importance of a loving family and the value of spending time outdoors in nature.

This could be a picnic in your local park, or a stroll through a forest, or even as simple as enjoying time together in your own back garden. The choice is yours, and if you're struggling for ideas I'm happy to suggest some great locations locally.
Your Family Photo Session
Anyone who's seen me photographing a wedding will know that I'm a very laid-back, friendly guy who loves his work and who doesn't get flustered when things don't go to plan.
A portrait session with Karl Burry Photography is exactly the same - very casual and relaxed, and most importantly FUN!
Sessions last around an hour, and I begin by taking a series of photos of you and your kids, the kids by themselves, and you and your partner (What? You thought it would just be the kids? Of course I can photograph just the kids if you insist, but trust me, they will thank you in the future if you get involved too. After all, have you ever heard anyone say "I wish I had less photos of me and my parents when I was younger"?)
We then let the kids do what they do best - run, play, jump in puddles, go nuts! This is when we get some of the most authentic, genuine photos that truly capture what your day-to-day life is about right now as a family, and isn't that what you really want to capture and remember for ever?
After Your Session
The fun for me is just beginning as I now get to see what we captured during your session. I edit the photos and retouch and enhance each and every one to look their best.
Your final photos are generally available in around 2 weeks, and are displayed in a beautiful online gallery for you to select your favourites for purchase. Galleries are password protected so are only available for viewing by yourselves and anyone you wish to share them with.
Pricing
If you've been looking for professional, yet affordable family portrait photography, you've come to the right place. My portrait sessions are £125, payable at the time of booking to secure your time and date, and includes a 9x6 inch print and high resolution digital download of your choice, from which you can print and share with Grandparents and relatives to your heart's delight.
Other photos are available as the following portrait collections:
- Collection 1: £306* / £340 (10% discount) 5 high resolution digital downloads and corresponding 9x6 inch prints.
- Collection 2: £340* / £487 (20% discount) 10 high resolution digital downloads and corresponding 9x6 inch prints.
- Collection 3: £487* / £697 (30% discount) ALL your high resolution (minimum 50) digital downloads and corresponding 9x6 inch prints, delivered in a beautiful presentation box.
* Why the double prices? Portrait galleries are "live" and available for purchase for 2 weeks, after which any photos not purchased are removed. It's easy to look at the photos and then think "we'll select and order later", then life gets in the way and it gets forgotten. So, as an incentive to purchase early, the collections are available at discounts of up to 30% for the first 48 hours of your gallery being live.
As well as being able to download your purchased high resolution files, they will also be permanently available to you in my cloud storage so you know you always have a backup of your photos available should disaster strike and you lose them.
